The property is located within walking distance of great restaurants and local markets, which is perfect for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and have a nice balcony feature. to this, the exterior setting is beautiful and adds an enjoyable atmosphere.
The accommodation has some disappointing aspects. There were no proper beddings, and the breakfast provided was not up to standards, with poor quality coffee and store-bought biscuits.

We arrived late in Puebla Mexico after a flight to Mexico city from Canada. The staff were waiting for us and very welcoming. We received very good service during our 2 night stay and enjoyed good continental breakfasts. The Guide book said that a bar next door could be noisy but we were so tired that it did not bother us.

my stay at Hotel Casa Del Callejon was great. The location was fantastic, with plenty of restaurants and a market right outside the door. The rooms were spacious and I loved having a balcony.
Everything was fantastic.

We visited Puebla for 3 days, but only stayed in this hotel for one night. I knew from the pictures and from the other reviews that this was a very "pared down" hotel (actually a b+b), but had payed a price that would usually ensure a better room. This room was uncomfortable from several aspects. It was dark, only one small window, was hot - no a/c in late May - and was dirty. After walking up the stairs to the room, I had to wash my hands after holding the handrail. The Mexican tile floor was filthy. I didn't want to walk around with shoes, the bath mat on the floor became black. The host - there is often only one in a b+b - was extremely accomodating. When we asked for a fan he gave us an old fan that looked 20 years old and was unbelievable noisy, when we complained he actually gave us his small fan from the office. The location of this hotel could not be more perfect - in centro historico but located on a plaza and not on a noisy street. With some updating and cleaning this hotel could be charming.

It is also close to a coffee shop, which gives a nice atmosphere. the room was lovely, with comfortable bedding and a clean bathroom. the service was excellent, with helpful staff that gave me a new room with a good WiFi signal. the charming property gave a really unique experience that I enjoyed.
Some maintenance issues made the stay less than optimal.

The hotel is located in the historical downtown area, close to Centro, restaurants, and a coffee shop, making it very convenient for us to explore this city. The staff were really helpful and accommodating, ensuring that we had a good wifi signal by moving us to a different room, which was spacious and had a nice balcony with a good view.
Everything great.

The Christmas decorations were lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was also convenient for exploring the town's historic center. the balcony offered a great view of the surrounding area and made for a relaxing way to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
The room itself was not up to par. the linens provided were insufficient and uncomfortable.
